Halloween is starting early in Historic Downtown Cochrane. Trick or Treat in Historic Downtown Cochrane is back for its fifth year, inviting kids and parents to put on their best costumes and collect goodies from local shops before dark.
Saturday, October 31, noon to 4 p.m.
CochraneNow spoke with organizer Kailey Mitchell of Quirk Social. With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, the event runs from 12 until 4 p.m. Families can simply come downtown: maps and posters guide the way, and participating businesses are marked with balloons.
Free, with no tickets or sign-ups
The event is free and there’s nothing to register for. Mitchell said it’s also a great way to support local businesses, and some shops often hand out coupons or a little something for the parents too.
See the Trick or Treat page for the map of participating businesses.
