We’re all about creating connections – whether that’s helping folks find fun events, giving a small business a hand in reaching their dream clients, providing a platform for local artisans to show off their amazing goods, or supporting non-profits to gather funds for their big projects.
Plus, we love shining a spotlight on local businesses both online and during our events. It’s all about boosting our community’s success, right?
And then there’s the Social Spot Marketplace . It’s a year-round local artisan market right in the heart of Historic Downtown Cochrane. It’s the perfect spot to find locally made and inspired goods.

Kailey Mitchell
I am a born and raised Cochranite now raising my two beautiful girls in my hometown. I drink wine, eat all the things and love to move my body to balance it all out. I have travelled to over fifteen countries & love to immerse myself in new cultures, try new food and speak the languages.
People are my jam. Over the past few years, I have had the immense pleasure of working alongside some wonderful Cochrane organizations through both social media and event management.
I have founded strong relationships within the community and am proud to witness our entrepreneurs & small business community support one another to thrive in our little town.
Cochrane, Alberta, is my home, and now more than ever, it is my passion. From friendly smiles to Rocky Mountain views, there is just something about this valley town that makes my heart proud.

Jackie Poulsen
Hi, I’m Jackie! I’m part of the Quirk Social digital marketing team, creating content for our clients and events. I was born and raised in Cochrane.
My background is in the modelling and fashion photography industry. I’m naturally an introverted person, so in my downtime I love to go on nature walks with my dog, read or work on anything that inspires my creativity.
I first started working with The Social Spot when I was a vendor in the store. I really appreciate what Kailey and her team bring to the community and local businesses, and I love getting to work with so much amazing local talent!
