Trick or Treat in Historic Downtown Cochrane
On Halloween afternoon, Historic Downtown Cochrane becomes a trick-or-treat trail for local families!
Now in its fifth year, this free family event brings hundreds of kids and their grown-ups downtown to visit participating businesses, collect treats and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere throughout the district. Expect plenty of treats, costumes, decorated storefronts and a chance to explore the local businesses that make Historic Downtown Cochrane such a great place to spend an afternoon.

No tickets needed — just bring your costume and your treat bag!
Plan your route
The 2026 Treat Trail
- Look for the signs. Participating storefronts will have Trick or Treat signage and balloons out front.
- Come in costume. Kids (and grown-ups!) are encouraged to dress up and enjoy the Halloween spirit.
- Treats for grown-ups too. Some businesses may have a special offer for parents, so keep an eye out.
- Make a day of it. Stop for lunch or a coffee downtown and shop local while you’re there.

Head to the Haunted Hayloft on Halloween night, 6–10 PM at the Cochrane Ag Society barn.
