The Bow Valley Boot Stomp is heading into its third year, and organizers are expanding the celebration with a new, four-part event series.

The emerging country music festival, based in Cochrane, has taken place over the past two summers.

“We’re excited to deliver another unforgettable weekend of music for our community and visitors alike,” said founder Kailey Mitchell.

In its third year, the annual country music celebration is shaking things up with an updated schedule format that will bring music and community experiences to the Bow Valley year-round.

The 2026 event series includes:

  • International Women’s Day Songwriters Round – March 7
  • Festival Fits Fashion Show – May 30
  • Bow Valley Boot Stomp Main Festival – July 24–25
  • Holiday Fundraiser Concert – Dec. 12

The festival features live Canadian country and roots music, along with food trucks, beer gardens, interactive activities and on-site camping.

The full performer lineup will be announced soon and will continue the festival’s mission of showcasing emerging and local talent, with a curated mix of Alberta-based and up-and-coming country artists.
