A Pivotal Year for the Festival
Heading into the festival’s third summer, this year also marks a critical moment behind the scenes. The festival has experienced a reduction in grant funding, placing greater importance than ever on ticket sales, sponsorships, and community support.
“Producing a festival means securing artists, rentals, staging, and infrastructure months in advance. Long before ticket revenue is guaranteed, which is especially nerve-wracking as a small, locally owned business,” says Kailey Mitchell, CEO of Quirk Social Ltd, the organization behind the festival. “We believe deeply in what Boot Stomp brings to the Cochrane region, but this is the year the festival truly needs its community to show up.”
Organizers emphasize that every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured directly impacts the festival’s sustainability and future.
Early bird tickets for the July festival are on sale now, with organizers encouraging supporters to purchase early to help offset upfront production costs and ensure the event’s continued growth.
Bow Valley Boot Stomp is known for its thoughtfully curated experience – blending live music with local vendors, Alberta-based talent, and a welcoming environment that feels both elevated and approachable.
