Cochrane residents have been waiting for months and now we’re just days away from the first-ever country music festival kicking off.

Bow Valley Boot Stomp will start on Friday and continue right through until early Sunday morning with non-stop entertainment, food, fun and great country music.

Kailey Mitchell with Quirk Social said tickets are selling fast but there’s still an opportunity to get in on the fun.

“They can get tickets still online until Thursday and if there are any left we will have some at the gates.”

Doc Walker will headline the show on Friday night followed by headliner Aaron Goodvin on Saturday night.

The jam-packed stage schedule also features Canadian country artists, rising stars and local talents: Kalsey Kulyk, Drew Gregory, Brandon Lorenzo, Michela Sheedy, Alex Hughes, Jeff Catto, Jaryn Friesen and The Buckthorns. As well as The Backroad Traveler Band at Saturday night’s after party.

There will be multiple onsite food vendors, four bars, a marketplace and an after party on Saturday night with live music.

  • Twelve onsite food vendors – featuring everything from coffee & breakfast, to tacos, pizza, poutine, burgers, vegan options and so much more.
  • Four bars – serving a variety of craft beer, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages from Big Rock Brewing, Cottage Springs and Casa del Rey to keep you refreshed throughout the event.
  •  Two barn dance after parties – including a live performance by Backroad Traveler Band on Saturday night (18+)
  • Chatters Braids and Waves booth for a festival-ready hairstyle that will turn heads.
  • Wazin House of Oneness Tipi Display
  • Small curated marketplace showcasing Western wares

A portion of ticket sales from this year’s event will be donated to Cochrane Search & Rescue.

Onsite camping is available for festival goers.
